I would like to guess that since its a diesel,The dpf light means that the DPF (Diesel Particulate filter) needs regeneration, meaning that there should be a switch you flip on with a engine symbol that will start the regeneration process,the engineI've just purchased a secondhand 2007 (07 plate) Mazda 6 TS2 diesel with 93,000 miles. I've had the car just under a week and now the DPF light is flashing, I've looked over some of the forums and google and don't think the filter is blocked as the EM light is off and it isn't in limp home mode.
