Xbox Series S. Forza Motorsport Being 'Polished And Prepared' For Release Later This Year. Since Xbox's first ever Developer Direct event back in January, we've not heard much about the new Forza Motorsport game. During that event, Turn 10 Studios delivered a fairly chunky deep dive on the title, but unfortunately no release date was given.
On today’s Forza Monthly, Developer Turn 10 Studios introduced the online multiplayer racing modes that will be available in the upcoming ‘Forza Motorsport’ release. Featured Multiplayer, Private Multiplayer, Rivals, and an overhauled Forza Race Regulations aim to provide a strong foundation for clean, competitive racing.
Game Modes: ----- At the game's main menu, you're given three options: Forza Motorsport 3, Free Run and Xbox Live Marketplace. XBL Marketplace is self-explanatory, and Free Run is basically just where you go if you want to do an exhibition race or a free run/hot lap.
The new Forza ups the ante considerably: where FM7 used a single point of contact running at 60-Hz frequency, Motorsport runs eight points of contact polling at 360 Hz.
The on-screen wheel now rotates up to 360 degrees, which is far more realistic.
